The Wolves are in San Antonio tonight to take on the Spurs. The Wolves are coming off a disappointing loss to a bad Mavericks team after winning three straight games - two of them against playoff contenders in Houston and Oklahoma City. Unfortunately, the Spurs (31-9) are probably not the right team to be playing to try to get back in the win column but the Wolves will do their best to pull off a mighty upset.
When: 7:30 CT
Where: AT&T Center - San Antonio, TX
where to watch: Fox Sports North
Where to listen: 830 WCCO Radio
-The Wolves enter tonight's game sitting 12th in the West with a 14-27 record. Somehow, they're only 3 games behind the 8th seed Trail Blazers.
-Hard to believe but tonight's game is also the start of the second half of the Wolves season. The first half was disappointing, but let's hope the Wolves can make some noise in their next 41 games.
-In KAT's last 10 games he is averaging 20.7/13.6/4.3 in 37.3mpg, while shooting 49% from the field and tallying 1.8 blocks per game.
-Kris Dunn in his last 10 games: 2.8/1.5/2.2. He is only shooting 36% from the field in that stretch.
As much as we all want to see the Wolves regain the form they had during the 3-game winning streak, tonight is not the night it's going to happen.
Wolves lose 108-98. Spurs are lead by Leonard on both sides on the floor making life very hard for Andrew Wiggins.
Thanks for reading. Enjoy the game. Go Wolves.
