Name: Tim Parochka Affiliation: On The Prowl Web Address: www.ontheprowlmn.com Twitter: @timmy_p23 Tim! I appreciate the time! Should be fun! Dan! Thanks for giving me an opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions. How long have you been covering the Wolves for On The Prowl? I have been covering the Wolves for On The Prowl for less than a week, but I have been writing about them on other blogs and I was a columnist for the local newspaper in college where I wrote about them also. What sparked your interest in journalism and how did you get affiliated with OTP? Sports has always been a big thing for me and my family over the years so I thought I would go all-in on the investment and attempt to make it in journalism. Drew Mahowald, who's a writer at OTP, contacted me and asked if I would write for OTP. Shortly after, Dan contacted me and it's been smooth sailing from there. What will fans find by viewing or listening to your content? Hopefully thought-provoking articles with a unique twist. What keeps you driven and motivated to cover the team with excellence? I always feel like I have to prove myself. I'm an ultra-competitive guy so I put a lot of focus into everything I do which includes covering the Timberwolves. They have a chance to make the playoffs. There's a lot of good storylines with this team next season. Do you have a favorite Wolves memory in the time you’ve been covering them? Yes, and Rubio supporters would drool over it. Last year I covered Wolves media day for my radio station. When Nemanja Bjelica was finished with his press conference, Rubio had fun and gave him a standing ovation. Rubio's media day press conference was next and when he was finished with his, I stood up in the media section and gave him a standing ovation - Rubio loved it so he came over and started shaking my hand and laughing. What was the most enjoyable storyline in the past NBA season and why? There were a lot of good storylines last season. The Warriors winning 73 games. Will Durant leave Oklahoma City? The Cavaliers winning the championship. But my favorite was when Kobe Bryant scored 60 points in the final game of his career.
